Commanders Corner:

 

Bingo - Bingo - Bingo  --- This is our major fundraiser to help support our programs. Please come out and support your Post........PLAY BINGO and take home some money while having fund!

 

Canteen is open on Saturday evening from 7:00 pm to 12:30 am.  The "Winchester Band" is our house band and they are just great.  Come out and "shake a leg" and support your Post.  

 

We still need help with the Bingo sessions, and other odds and ends around the post home.    With Bingo I could use some help with running the cash register, calling bingo and selling cards on the floor.  We have Bingo every Friday and Saturday evening.  Help would be needed from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm.  If you can vlunteer every now and then please give me a call.

 

 Bingo Players Christmas Party - December 19, 2009. Meal and gifts for all who play Bingo.  Feeding starts at 6:00 PM. 

 

 New Year's Eve Party - December 31, 2009.  Doors open at 7:30 PM.  $25.00 Couple or $15.00 Single. Bring your own food, party favors will be provided.

 

Thanks to the Auxiliary members that have been bringing food in for our monthly meetings.  This is something that they decided to do to help with the increase of our attendance at our meetings.  So come on out for our meetings and enjoy and good meal afterwards.

Note from the Auxiliary President:

We had 17 entries for the Patriot's Pen Contest this year and 1 Voice of Democracy entry.  Our Patriot's Pen winners were Averie Wilson and Grace Ford students from Covenant Academy.  Our Voice of Democracy winner was Collin M. Partain student from Howard High School.  All received a certificate and $50.00 monetary award. Congratulations to these three students.  

   Come out and play Bingo with us on Wednesday night.  Jackpot $600.00.
